In an effort to provide additional service to the FIU community, the Graham University Center has established Commnuity Day Fair dates to our schedule of activities for off-campus vendors to promote and sell their products and services.

We are committed to honest business dealings with our vendors, and we strive to develop mutually advantageous relationships; therefore it is the sole responsibility of the vendor to determine the best dates for their business. The Graham Center is not responsible for the Vendor’s lack of sales for any reason.

Vendors are subject to university rules and regulations governing facilities utilization.

  • 2013 Community Day Fairs Packet

  • Requirements
    1. A valid Peddler's, Business or Occupational License.
    2. Copy of valid State Driver's License or Picture I.D.
    3. Federal I.D. number, W-9, or Tax I.D. # (Corporation Only)
    4. Proof of Valid Liability Insurance - CERTIFICATE HOLDER BOX ( located on the bottom left of page) must have the following statement: "The certificate shall indicate that the policy carries an endorsement naming The Florida International University Board of Trustees, Florida International University, the State of Florida, The Florida Board of Governors, and their respective trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents are listed as additional insured and/or loss payee as appropriate to the type policy".

  • Reservations, Cancellations, Refunds, No Shows, Insufficient Funds [Please read, sign and return]

  • RESERVATIONS
    A Vendor Table reservation is not confirmed, until the signed application, table rental guidelines form, and payment are received. Vendors may reserve a maximum of two tables for each date. A table layout is included with the Vendor Application.
    CANCELLATION/ REFUNDS/ NO SHOWS
    Cancellations must be received two weeks (14 business days), prior to the event date otherwise, the payment will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for No Shows and/or Cancellations on the day of the event.
    INSUFFICIENT FUNDS
    In the event that a business check bounces, the vendor will no longer be allowed to participate in any future vendor fairs. You will be charged any/all fines assumed to the vendor for insufficient funds and you must immediately pay the cost, along with the cost of the table ($42.80 or $85.60)

  • Fees

  • One table is $42.80 (tax included). The Graham Center only accepts cash and business checks. Parking fee is $1.00 per day. Parking pass may be purchased in the Graham Center, Room 1215, on the day of the event.

  • Parking and Loading Dock

  • PARKING: "Vendors may park at student assigned spaces (Lot #3). It is the responsibility of the vendor to pay or appeal any parking citations directly with Parking & Traffic in the Gold Garage, Room 100.

    LOADING DOCK: If you need to utilize the loading dock to unload items, a loading dock permit may be picked up in the Graham Center Main Office, Room 1215. The loading dock permit is FREE of charge and allows up to 30 minutes.

    From I-95, Downtown Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach Take I-95 to I-836 WEST Follow I-836 to the Florida Turnpike Take the Florida Turnpike SOUTH exit Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street) Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit Follow SW 8th Street, FIU will appear on the right before SW 107th Avenue
